It Can Happen Anywhere: Unpacking Abortion Ban-Related Deaths

Reports have demonstrated that several people have died as a result of bans on abortion care, including folx that were not seeking abortion in the first place. In this session, CERCL members will discuss the intersection of abortion bans and pregnancy complications, how maternal morbidity/mortality rates were poor even before these bans, and how bans, not abortion, is the cause of these deaths.
