Bolstering and Sustaining Your SRH Workforce During a National Healthcare Retention Crisis

This series of three Collaborative Learning Conversations will focus on staff training, retention and turnover planning.
The sessions will delve into three critical areas:

  • Building Robust Training Programs: Discuss strategies for building sustainable training programs that meet evolving external requirements and promote professional growth and development.
  • Leveraging Retention Strategies: Share promising approaches for retaining staff, including strengthening systems and teams to minimize burnout during times of short-staffing.
  • Planning for Turnover: Develop realistic retention goals and share best practices for cross-training, succession planning, and other strategies to prepare for turnover.

Sessions will be led by Karen Schoenherr, who serves as the Chief of Programs and Operations at KW Facilitation and a Independent Contractor and previously held the role of Director of Training and Organizational Development at Planned Parenthood League of Massachusetts.
